Day 5.Recovering after “Culture Night”! Today was an easier day but it gave us time to catch up on our log books 📚. The only real job we had to do was take down the tents before the snowstorm hits tonight (more on that later). The Icelandic Scouts couldn’t pull out the pegs because they were frozen solid but I stepped up and saved the day with my trusty crowbar!Once I had demolished the site with my crowbar it was feeding time where we got the news that a yellow weather warning and 28cm of snow was about to hit and we would not be hiking tomorrow 😢 Fortunately we can complete our expedition on Thursday and still hit the pool on Friday! 🥳After we got the news we headed back to tidy our rooms for inspection and spent the rest of the evening playing games within our patrols
