OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS!

The Maynooth Scouts went to the County Shield with only a few weeks preparation done. The weather was against them for most of it and with a total of 16 teams in the shield the odds were stacked up against them too! But fear not! The team consisting of Aoife O'Shea (Patrol Leader), Kate Essex (Assistant Patrol Leader), Darragh Murphy (First Scout), Kieran Casey, Jack Gallagher, Sarah Heaslip, Donnagh Mayock and Laura McCarthy put up a fantastic display of teamwork, endurance and good old fashioned fun-loving scout spirit!
They came second overall and won best site and did us proud! Allenwood came first place, well done to all in Allenwood.
