Come along and join us and many others at the Maynooth Harvest Festival this weekend (13th – 16th September). There are loads of activities planned (see the full programme here), including on Saturday live music in the town all day, and stalls along the entire main street. Maynooth Scouts will be getting our community spirit in action by running a “sponge throwing” stall in the Tesco carpark alongside all the other activities planned for there from 1 to 4pm. We will also have a stall on main street selling bric-a-brac in aid of our Den fund (we are gratefully accepting donations of items to sell also, contact details on link on the right). Finally on Sunday we will be running a duck race down the river lyreen from behind Manor Mills to the green behind main street. Ducks will be on sale for 2 Euros each, or (3 for 5 Euros) at our stall on Saturday all in aid of our Den fund. Come along and join us, fun guaranteed!
